The imaging above shows a lateral view of the cervical spine with a natural lordotic curve. Other views of the spine may or may not reveal issues not seen on this view.
The imaging above reveals "Text Neck". This occurs when the cervical spine loses it natural lordotic curve. This can be treated with chiropractic care.
The imaging above reveals a fracture in the cervical spine. This is a contraindication to Chiropractic care. This person would be advised to follow up with an orthopedic doctor.
The final X-ray shown above highlights a situation where chiropractic care could have gone wrong without proper imaging. If an X-ray had not been taken, an adjustment may have worsened an already fractured neck. Findings like this are not common in our office, but they do occur occasionally. This is why appropriate imaging is an important part of providing safe, responsible care.
